Challenging – Moderate

Minehead to Porlock Weir is the opening stretch of the South West Coast Path offering a surprisingly wild and rugged experience, quickly leaving behind the town to climb into moorland, heath, and remote combes. Though less dramatic than later stages, it’s rich in views, wildlife, and atmosphere.
